In preserving the integrity of the Glenn Building as it transformed to the Glenn Hotel, we saved its beauty and its balance with nature, and in turn, allowed our guests to leave a smaller ecological footprint. Instead of demolition, we chose design modification. We replaced rebuild with reuse. And carried our signature dedication to ultimate personal comfort forward, as we maximized the building's organic energy efficiency. As a result, we were awarded the Exceptional Merit for Historic Preservation Award in 2006, the Urban Land Institute of Atlanta Excellence in Development Award in 2006, and the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation Award in 2007.
